Tasting Notes: A blend of the younger vines from all the crus, the Brovia Barolo is forward, spicy and ripe, decadent and luscious. Brovia crafts this wine with an eye towards the history of Barolo in Piedmont, regal and refined, a joy to drink. This is a ready to drink wine that will certainly hold for another 5-10 years but with so much pleasure in the bottle right now. Crushed flowers, mint, spice, blood orange and sweet berry fruit are laced throughout.
Estate History: Brovia was founded in in the village of Castiglione Falletto, in the heart of the Barolo district by Giacinto Brovia. Now run by his great-great grandaughter Elena and her husband Alex Sanchez, this family-run estate continues to put out top quality Baroli.
