Tasting Notes: The Carranco Villa dei Baroni Etna Rosso expresses the volcanic personality of its homeland, an intense minerality and acidity, and a very elegant finish with light, silky and savory tannins, accompanied by intense fruit-forward scents alternating with more spicy notes. Pair with appetizers, red meat, roasted or stewed beef.
Estate History: The Carranco estate sits about 1,600 feet above sea level in the village of Pietra Marina, located on the north side of Etna - one of the most suitable slopes for wine production.
